Vera Wang

Born in New York and a previous figure skater, Vera Wang is an iconic fashion designer. After designing her wedding gown in 1989, her couture bridal gown store was born in 1990; the rest was history. Yumi Katsura is a Japanese designer whose designs are based on a magic formula. Carolina Herrera, a Venezuelan-American fashion designer and a favorite of celebrities and first ladies since 1987. Oscar Dela Renta

Even though Oscar De la Renta passed away in 2014, his designs live on. His collection continues to boast classic, sophisticated, timeless elegance. His previous clients are icons like Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn, and now, brides still turn to an Oscar De la Renta design for their bridal gowns.

A Lebanese fashion designer, Reem Acra is known to combine tradition with a modern aesthetic. Some of her most famous gowns have elaborate embroideries. And she also creates matching veils and bags to complete her signature look. If you want a luxury wedding dress, try Reem Acra.

Monique Lhuillier

Another icon in bridal fashion, Monique Lhuillier, is a Filipino-French fashion designer and creative director. Galia Lahav

Galia Lahav was born in Belarus to a family of seamstresses. The Marchesa brand has two women behind it– Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, who established it in 2004 in New York. Zuhair Murad

And each couture dress undergoes hundreds of hours of handcrafted beading, embroidery, and finishing by his ateliers in Paris and Beirut.
