There’s something about a winter wedding that makes it magical, or even beyond that, something ethereal. Maybe it’s because of the scenery – a vast space of pure white that almost transports you to a world beyond our world. Would you love to have that kind of wedding? If so, let our blog guide you to some of the best winter wedding venues on this planet.

The Devil’s Thumb Ranch, Colorado

Your guests will enjoy the Colorado real mountain getaway experience at this resort. Why? It’s because of their 6,500 acres of pristine wilderness that everyone can explore! Your wedding weekend will surely be a treat for you and your guests as you can embark on different outdoor activities. Think about skiing, fly fishing, horseback riding, zip-lining, and more. The ranch treats every wedding celebration special as they reserve the property for only one wedding event at a time. So they assure you of exclusivity. And if you want complete privacy, you can request to rent the whole place. They can accommodate up to 300 guests.

Hôtel de Glace, Canada

Would you want to feel like you’re Princess Elsa of Disney’s Frozen, standing in her self-made ice palace? But unlike her, imagine you’re getting married to your real-life prince! Why don’t you try Hotel de Glace in Québec, Canada? They offer 45 ice rooms and suites with different themes, an ice bar, and an ice chapel, which they all build anew every winter. So the design is always different each year. They usually start building the hotel as soon as the temperature permanently drops below freezing (January to March). They welcome guests from all over the world and accept weddings on weekends and weekdays, with a flexible ceremony time.

The Point, New York

If you prefer an intimate winter wedding, The Point in New York City is the one for you. They offer 11 guest rooms in four original log buildings from the originally built Great Camp for William Rockefeller II. You can buy out the entire property and have an all-inclusive experience.

This means you and your guests will enjoy all meals, drinks, and activities, such as ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh ride, bonfire, and more! It’s definitely one of the best winter wedding venues around.

SnowCastle, Finland

You’re in for a treat at Finland’s SnowCastle. You will experience a winter wonderland wedding here even if it’s not winter because the SnowCastle area offers snow & ice experiences all year round! They have a snow chapel with approximately 100 seats and a snow restaurant with tables of ice and chairs covered in reindeer hide and sheepskin. And they have the most Instagram-worthy accommodation – the Seaside Glass Villas. These seaside villas overlook the Gulf of Bothnia, the northernmost waterway of the Baltic Sea. It features floor-to-ceiling wrap-around windows and a glass roof. Just imagine splendid sea/ snow and sky views, plus the bonus Aurora Borealis from mid-August until early April.
