You know what I love about city hall elopement sessions? It is the ultimate intimate wedding affair. There is usually no more than a party of 15 to witness something so special. The bride’s mother flew all the way from Russia to watch her little girl get married.
On a cloudy Monday morning, the bride got ready at their apartment on East 32nd St. Ksenyia’s family doesn’t live in the United States so only her mother was able to make it. But that did not stop Ksenyia from having the best day ever. She had the support of Jim’s family. His two nieces helped with the her hair and makeup. Jim’s sisters were so excited to see their brother get married. I could tell it in their face they were overwhelmed with joy and butterflies.
When the couple saw each other for the first time in front of the New York City County Clerks office, it was magical. He couldn’t believe he had found the one he’d been waiting for. Everything leading up to the ceremony were jitters and excitement to finally make it official. The family could not be happier and love was was definitely felt this day.
