M + D had such an unforgettable black-tie wedding. It rained the entire wedding weekend, but even the rain could not stop them from getting officially hooked! And with just less than three months of planning, it’s incredible how their wedding turned out to be– oh so romantic! Thanks to their wedding planner, BLB Events. The wedding weekend started on Friday night at Celestine, a restaurant in Brooklyn under the Manhattan Bridge, for 40 guests. Everyone had a great time with sumptuous food.

Getting Ready

On Saturday, May 14, their wedding day started at 1 Hotel Brooklyn, where the couple got ready. M wore a bridal gown by Yumi Katsura from Designer Loft, and the store gifted her with a basic fingertip veil. The brand of her shoes is Seychelles, from BHLDN, where her earrings, necklace, and bracelet were also from. The couple’s engagement ring and wedding bands were from Tiffany & Co.

Wedding Ceremony

They had a first look before walking (with umbrellas!) to The River Cafe in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, where their wedding ceremony and reception would be taking place. The guest book was from Etsy, while other paper products like programs, escort and place cards, menus, etc., were from Minted and Zazzle. Andrea Ramos officiated their wedding ceremony. The music by Chialing Pidd is so romantic! And the ring bearer looked so cute in a Vera Wang outfit! After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Joel Frost of 74Events took care of the reception music. Oh, and the flowers by Hellabloom and cake by Wild Flour are just so lovely!

Farewell

The next day, there was a farewell brunch at The Osprey Restaurant at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge to conclude the wedding weekend. Indeed, couple M + D achieved their vision of a romantic wedding with the beautiful landscapes and details of Brooklyn.
