Central Park

This 843-acre park in the middle of the city holds many lovely places to choose from. It’s actually too many that it’s so hard to choose. Feel like Romeo as you pop the ring to Juliet on the balcony of Belvedere Castle. Head over to the iconic Bethesda Terrace & Fountain or Bow Bridge for a classic proposal in NYC. And if you want an intimate experience, try the Ladies Pavilion, Conservatory Garden, or ride a row boat from the Loeb Boathouse.

Busy City

If your soon-to-be fiancée loves the city vibe, better do it with a 360-degree view of the Big Apple– where else but the top of the Empire State Building! You’ll most probably wait in a long line, especially during peak visiting hours, so it’s best to purchase online tickets ahead of time. But if you want a less crowded alternative, you can opt for Top of the Rock at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where you’ll get a great view of New York City’s skyline and skyscrapers. Don’t forget to tag along your favorite photographer to capture that priceless moment!

Times Square

If you don’t mind the crowd, go and surprise your future fiancée with a personalized message and picture on a billboard in Times Square. Isn’t it the most surprising and coolest proposal in NYC? We’re sure that onlookers will feel the love in the air as you pop the question. So go ahead and win the heart of your dearest not just by asking using the words of your mouth but using one of the iconic screens of the world!

The Cloisters

If your sweetheart loves European medieval art and architecture, she will most likely answer the question with a big ‘Yes’! The Cloisters is a part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and is in Fort Tyron Park in Upper Manhattan. It was built in 1938 and was designed to look like a French Romanesque Abbey. Instantly be transported in place and time and get a feel of Europe centuries ago. Visit them during off-peak hours to avoid the crowd, and you’ll get beautiful, romantic photos amongst the greenery and medieval archways. Don’t forget to hire the best photographer in town to capture that most precious moment!

Restaurant Daniel

Impress your loved one with a romantic and sumptuous dinner at Restaurant Daniel. This Michelin-star restaurant is the perfect place to get down on one knee, pop the question, and offer the ring. The French restaurant owner, Daniel Boulud, is an amazing chef who continually evolves his cuisine and received numerous awards. Daniel’s elegant interiors and the luxurious menu will undoubtedly make your beloved feel extra special. Indeed, your proposal in NYC will be a very memorable experience for you and your future wife.
