Williamsburg Treasure at MyMoon

When Clara and James came across the concept of having a micro wedding, they knew it was the perfect option. It was important that they could invite friends but still keep it intimate. Originally the couple planned to get hitched at city hall. But with COVID cases still prevalent, they decided they weren’t comfortable with having their parents in such a public space. After doing a bit of research, they chose MyMoon in Brooklyn, which definitely did not disappoint!

Rustic Elegance at MyMoon

The pair settled on MyMoon in Williamsburg. Can I note that so many of my brides this year have been getting married in Brooklyn? I love it! The venue is a spacious restaurant with a beautiful courtyard garden. This location gave them the best of both worlds. MyMoon has an outdoor element but can be made totally weatherproof if necessary!

While planning a wedding during a pandemic was understandably stressful, Clara said that she really appreciated going through this experience with her now-husband. It feels like they’ve accomplished something huge together. Plus, MyMoon has great all-inclusive packages designed to take the stress out of planning, so you can relax and enjoy it. The two also had the help and coordination of Awe by Kerry, who specializes in customized service packages!

To incorporate a personal touch into the day, Clara and James had bubble tea as their welcome drink since they aren’t big alcohol drinkers. For their guestbook, instead of going the traditional route, the pair decided to use giant Jenga! After dinner, the newlyweds and their guests indulged in a stunning cake by Pip n Bits. Located in Astoria, Pip n Bits specializes in beautiful cakes for weddings, birthdays, showers, and all special events. As the night wound down, Clara and James headed to the Wythe Hotel to spend their first night together as husband and wife!

Once again, I’m finding myself loving all of the innovative ways couples have put together their dream wedding. As we inch nearer to the end of the year, I’m reminded of people’s total resilience in the face of uncertainty!
